September 2011- This month Martha is honoured to perform in the staged reading of a new piece by Booker-prize winner and one of Africa’s most prominent writers, the Nigerian novelist Ben Okri. “The Heart’s Tent is Broken” in on in the Tristan Bates Theatre in Covent Garden. Martha is also performing as Smellgha, the poetic boss of a couple of aliens in Martyn Dempsey’s comedy “The Extra-Terrestrials and the Park of the Golden Swing”. On in the Brockley Jack Studio Theatre in South London.
